How To Cure Gum Disease Without A Dentist
So how do I cure gum disease?
Gum disease can often be treated. The goal is to remove bacteria from the mouth, and allow your gums to heal. The first step to getting rid of gum diseases is education. This will help you to learn how to effectively clean your teeth at-home.
We typically recommend to homecare programs.
Use an electric toothbrush twice daily to brush your teeth. Use the toothbrush only in one way. This is a common mistake. Ask them how they brush their teeth. They will often show poor techniques. The electric toothbrush is used in the same way as a manual toothbrush, which simply does not work. The other thing to remember is that you must change the head every three months. Any longer and the effectiveness of your head will be reduced.
Clean in between your teeth. It is an important place that most people overlook. Aim to use interproximal brushes at least once daily and ensure you are using the correct size. It’s a common error to use brushes that are too small, which means you’re not cleaning effectively. A dentist or hygienist can help you determine the best size to use. The rule of thumb is to choose the largest one that fits between the gaps without touching any teeth.
Please remember this is generic advice. Because everyone is unique, it’s crucial to receive specific advice.
Gum disease can be treated at home by using homecare. Your dentist can’t do your daily cleanings so you have to take care of your oral health.
The second most important aspect is to get your teeth cleaned professionally. It is essential to correctly diagnose gum disease. There are several types. A plan must also be developed. You cannot reach the bottom of your pockets as described above, so you need professional help.
Advanced gum disease: This is what we usually do:
Six points are required to record pocketing around every tooth.
Make sure to keep track of the levels of plaques and blood loss.

I have been going to this place for the last 5 years. I have had many problems. They took care of them. The customer service, care, guidance and treatment I have got have been always extraordinary. Everyone is professional and dedicated to deliver the best. I am sorry, I don’t remember all the names of the wonderful staff. Some of the names of the wonderful team members I remember I would like to mention like : Dr. Bains, Alex, Anna and Rupa. A big thank you for all the years for the amazing service🙏 Keep up the great work. You all are amazing! – RIGHT PATH LEARNING
I have been going to Angel Care Dental since I was a young child… so quite a while 😉 and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The facility is beautiful, the care and gentle touch mean everything to me because I don’t like going to the dentist – who does? But it’s different here and I leave feeling genuinely happy. Mihaela is the BEST hygienist and Dr Galo is kind and extremely gentle. Even a root canal isn’t half bad with Dr Galo! Dr Soraya is also wonderful! Thanks Angel Care. ☺️ – Tara H
