However, gas and electric trimmers are still acceptable to be used at home. Bateman stated that though gas offers the most power and is best for larger properties, heavier trimmers can require upkeep. He said that electric trimmers are the most cost-effective of all three and they’re better suited for smaller yards because a single cord is limited in its reach.
