Opalescence Boost

Opalescence might be a familiar brand. It’s a top-selling take-home whitening product. Opalescence Boost can also be used in an office setting. Opalescence Boost can be used to bleach your hair with a non-UV light-activated, chemically activated method. Opalescence Boost makes a great replacement to ZOOM if there are bright or intense light sources and you have sensitive skin. Particularly if you have sensitive teeth. The light-activated gel is not as gentle on enamel.

It’s finally here: What does teeth whitening cost at a dentist office? You might be able to get it as a discount or special for new patients. However, if it’s out of your pocket, you can expect to spend between $300 and $1,000 for in-house teeth bleaching at a dentist practice. The cost will vary depending upon where you live and which product you use. Some providers combine price with a package such as Invisalign, or implants. This could even come down to $199 and $299. You can always ask your dentist for any offers.

There are two ways to whiten your teeth

There are two methods to get your tooth whitened. One product can lighten the tooth. A product that bleaches teeth can make the natural shade lighter. This happens when it changes the natural tooth colour. Usually, this is between five and seven, sometimes up to twelve, shades. The peroxides in bleaching products can remove deep as well as surface stains. The second whitening process uses non-bleaching products that work by physical or chemical action to help remove surface stains only.

One new entry to the field of tooth whitening, chairside bleaching, is an option. It may take several visits, each lasting between 30-60 minutes. The chairside procedure involves your dentist applying a protection gel to your gums and a rubber barrier to protect your soft tissue. A bleaching agent is then applied to the teeth, and a special light may be used to enhance the action of the agent.

Okuda estimates that the cost for professional whitening will vary depending on where you live, which product is used, and other services available. However, it typically starts at about $500 per session. If your teeth aren’t very dark or very stained, you may need only one session.

You can get a home-whitening treatment from your dentist. A lot of at-home products are made with carbamide peroxide. They come in a form where the gel can be applied in a custom-fitted guard that is created from an impression of your teeth. The guard can be worn twice daily for up to 30 minutes, or for several weeks depending on which product your dentist recommends. The length of time can range from one week to one month depending on how much whitening you need. The procedure costs about $400, and can whiten the teeth up to seven shades.

Dentist’s Office: Whitening Costs

On average, in-office teeth whitening costs $650. This can vary depending on how expensive your dentist is and the product being used.

In-office teeth whitening can be very effective in many cases. More people say they notice a difference in the appearance of their teeth after an in-office treatment than they do with at-home treatments.

An dentist will use bleaching substances that are much stronger than any bleaching chemicals found in at-home treatments or whitening strips. The most common bleaching agent is hydrogen peroxide. Whitening strips purchased at stores usually have a maximum of 10 percent. Hydrogen peroxide can be used in office treatments. It is usually between 25 to 40 percent.

The rewards credit card can make it even easier to smile brighter.

Maintaining a whiter smile takes more time and costs extra. In-office whitening treatments are the fastest way to get whiter teeth. Many of those treatments only take around an hour. You will not see your full results if you use whitening strips for more than two weeks.

There is no permanent teeth-whitening treatment that can guarantee results. Care of your teeth post-whitening will have a major impact on the longevity of your results. The results will last longer if you avoid foods that can stain your teeth like coffee, tea and red wines. The results can be expected to last at least one year.

Everyone is professional and dedicated to deliver the best. I am sorry, I don’t remember all the names of the wonderful staff. Some of the names of the wonderful team members I remember I would like to mention like : Dr. Bains, Alex, Anna and Rupa. A big thank you for all the years for the amazing service🙏 Keep up the great work. You all are amazing! – RIGHT PATH LEARNING
I have been going to Angel Care Dental since I was a young child… so quite a while 😉 and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The facility is beautiful, the care and gentle touch mean everything to me because I don’t like going to the dentist – who does? But it’s different here and I leave feeling genuinely happy. Mihaela is the BEST hygienist and Dr Galo is kind and extremely gentle. Even a root canal isn’t half bad with Dr Galo! Dr Soraya is also wonderful! Thanks Angel Care. ☺️ – Tara H
