Target allows returns of unopened diapers and unused diapers for up to 90-days after the purchase date. This is provided you retain your original receipt. If you have the original receipt or another proof of purchase, your diapers may be returned in-store. You will then receive a new size within 90 day.
Do I have the right to return opened diapers to Target?
You can return any opened diapers to Target if you have the receipt and you still live within the 90 day window.
Target won’t be selling diapers because they are considered sanitary products. Therefore, Target will return opened diapers.
A refund is more likely if diapers prove to have been defective, caused allergies, or cause other problems.
Some online accounts have described individuals pleading their cases often, to some degree, with success. In the end though, it’s left up to store managers to make that decision.
What if I don’t have a receipt to return my diapers?
Target allows you to return diapers without the receipt provided that other proof of purchase is available.
Target can locate your order online if the payment was done via Target RedCard (Visa, Mastercard or AmEx), Discover, personal cheque, Target gift card (which should be kept) and Target RedCard.
To prove that you purchased, you may also access your Target.com receipt or digital barcode to verify your purchase.
If you are unable to provide any proof of purchase, you will be refunded with a ‘merchandise return card’. The Target merchandise return card is not redeemable online. This only applies in Target’s stores
In all cases mentioned above, you’ll need to produce a valid government-issued ID photo for verification.
Can I Return Diapers To Target After 90 Days?
Target will accept diapers back after 90 days. However, you’ll be given the price for the lowest item in the past 90 days and a merchandise card that can be used only in-store.
If you purchase diapers through your Target RedCard you have 120-days to return the product with a receipt.
Additionally, Target diapers brands such as Up&Up are eligible for a one year return policy.
Are my Target Diapers able to be exchanged for a larger size?
You can exchange diapers at Target if they are in their original packaging and not opened.
Where can I send my Diapers to Target?
Target.com/Target stores will accept any diapers bought at Target.com or Target.com. The original receipt and barcode from Target, Target delivery or shipping confirmation email can be brought back to Target’s Customer Services Desk.
Target.com diapers can be returned via postal mail. However, you’ll need to pay the return shipping costs unless Target made an error.

What if I want to return diapers purchased in a different store than Target?
Target can’t accept any diapers you bought in another shop.
Target may sell the exact same diaper brand, but you have to have the proof of purchase in order to return diapers within 90 days.
