Lowe’s has a range of style options that allow you to ‘Buy Later, Pay Later’

Lowe’s has a Lease to Own program that allows customers to pay slowly for items they don’t need, but have the funds to purchase.

The customer can pay monthly and eventually own the property for up to $2500.

Even though it’s not exactly like a “buy Now Pay Later” program, this allows customers to not worry about bigger purchases.

Service also includes the following products:

  • Home appliances
  • Outdoor and seasonal living
  • Use power tools
  • Home decor
  • Lighting fixtures
  • These products cannot be included with the service.

  • Perishable and consumable items, including fuel, food, and fertilizer
  • Permanently installed products, like carpet and drywall
  • Services-related transactions like installation and haul-away
  • There is a $150 minimum purchase and approval for this service will be required. However, no credit checks are necessary.

Furthermore, the 12 month lease agreement does not apply to everyone. Progressive leasing isn’t available in Minnesota and New Jersey.

What can you do instead of a ‘Buy now, Pay Later’ service at Lowe’s

If you don’t qualify for Lease to Own, the next thing is to use your credit card to purchase your item.

With that, Lowe’s accepts most major credit card issuers. Lowe’s has its own store credit program, offering 5% rebate on store purchases, but not gift cards.

A variety of credit options are available to professionals including the Lowe’s Commercial, Lowe’s rewards card, as well as the Lowe’s Business card.

All these options enable you to purchase larger quantities and repay slowly.

Another option for purchasing tools is to use Lowe’s tool rental service, which allows you to rent tools you need and then return them once used.

The rental service does not allow you to buy any tools but it can provide you with all the necessary merchandise at a reduced price.
