Surprisingly cosmetics can be stolen easily from Walmart and other stores due to their large size.
You can slip small makeup items, such as lipsticks or eyeshadows into your pockets without worrying about leaving an incriminating imprint.
2. Portable Electronics
The perceived value of electronics makes them tempting targets for theft. Yet again, the most common electronics stolen are those that are of a smaller size, and can be easily hidden.
Walmart stores lock the doors of larger, more expensive electronics. This makes it more difficult for shoplifters to get hold of smaller electronic goods.
3. Packed Meats
While it may sound unbelievable, the truth is that it really does happen. Since more than twenty years, shoplifting has included meat theft.
The reason the item is so beloved by shoplifters …. is not clear.

Again, this generally tends to be the case with more expensive alcohol that comes in smaller containers, making them more inconspicuous when being slipped into a bag or pocket.

Again, it’s unclear why baby formula is so popular with so many shoplifters, though my research has shown that there is a potentially high resale value for baby formula, meaning that profit is ready to be made!

Perhaps this is because customers can easily go up to glasses departments and grab a pair of sunglasses, then walk out.
8. DVDs, Blu-rays and Video Games
They can be easily carried in your bag or pocket, so they are very lucrative.
9. Razor Blades
If you were to head into a Walmart store, or a number of other grocery stores, you may find that razor blades are now protected behind locked doors.
This is because they were a highly popular item amongst shoplifters for some time!
10. Drugs Other Than The Original
This one can largely be put down to the difficulty inherent in accessing them!
The high cost of over-the-counter medicines would make them more difficult to obtain in-store.
11. Cigarettes
Again, these need to be picked up over the counter, and cannot be sold to people below the age of 21, thus will fetch a decent price outside of the store!

You can conceal it in bags or pockets, so you’ll be able to sell it outside.

The idea of shoplifting expensive sporting goods could seem appealing.
14. Jeans
Jeans were an extremely popular choice for shoplifters. They used to be stolen often from the changing rooms. Jeans are very much in fashion today.
15. Swimsuits
You can conceal them in your pockets or bags making it easy for thieves to get hold of them.

This award is not the best for any store. Unfortunately, this title has been placed on a number of Walmart stores throughout the US!
