Britt Baker’S Dentist Office: Yes, She’S A Real Dentist

Britt Baker doesn’t give everything in her ring. Instead, many of her fans were shocked to discover that she is a dentist.

Dentist offices were closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Britt Baker shared her thoughts about working as a real dentist. This is what I need to recharge.” Baker’s Care Dash page states that she has a 4.3 rating for overall patient satisfaction. Her dentist office treats “traumatic dental injuries, temporomandibular joints syndrome (TMJ), and abscessed teeth”.

It was a hard fight, but she got there. Baker has a remarkable resume, which she has amassed during her independent career. Baker was the IWC Women’s Champion for the first time and held the title two times. Shimmer, RISE, Ring of Honor and Ring of Honor were just some of the many promotions that she wrestled for.

Baker was hand-picked to join All In, the popular show that fans credit as being the precursor of AEW. At the industry-altering event, Baker participated in a four corner survival match against Tessa Blanchard, Madison Rayne, and Chelsea Green. Baker signed with the new company a few weeks later. As the first woman signed to AEW she instantly had an uphill battle against the lofty expectations placed upon her shoulders. Initially, her run as a babyface wasn’t received well by the audience and it was clear something had to change.

Last year, after a match between Priscilla and Gigi Dolin on the Jericho Cruise, she turned heel. The result was an effective character shift that led to a significant improvement in the ring.

Baker shared her story on PWI Podcast. She spoke about how hard she worked and the perseverance she needed to be a success. She was driven to success by her determination and grit.

“I will say, once the pandemic hit, I couldn’t go to the dental office anymore. I was just fresh in this heel turn, so I did nothing but professional wrestling because I didn’t have anything else to do. This was my time. I would go to the wrestling ring non-stop. It was the only thing I watched all day. Promos, matches, everything. Non-stop, I practiced promos. The mentors I look up to as my mentors were always there for me. Because I wanted to become the best, I worked hard every day.

I really wanted 2021 to be my year, I felt like I had it in me. All I needed was to relax, zone out and get to know Dr. Britt DMD. Then, it was time to take on the role of a villain. You will be seen onscreen if you are uncomfortable. This is what you have to do. Britt Baker is a professional dentist, a professional wrestler, and the AEW Women’s World Champion.

3. Britt Baker Was Trained By Johnny Gargano And Candice Lerae

Britt Baker started training as a wrestler because studying to be a dentist was too taxing.

Baker had always been a huge fan of wrestling from an early age, but it wasn’t until college that she got serious about training. Baker chose the two best wrestlers in the world to show her what it was like to be a professional. Baker attended Absolute Intense Wrestling, where Johnny Gargano & Candice LeRae trained her to be a superstar.

Uproxx’s 2020 Baker stated that LeRae’s experience is never far away, despite having been involved in various companies.

Candice LeRae was actually my trainer, and she still watches me on TV, watching the matches. She’s also always keeping an eye on me. She really helped me in all aspects of wrestling, kind of teaching me the ropes behind the scenes what to do, what not to do. In the ring, I learned the art of professional wrestling from her. Her presence in my life and the opportunity to be a part of her learning process is something that I will forever be grateful for.

I wish her all the best. And she still, even to this day, has so much more that she’s capable of that the world has not seen. You just need to relax and wait because Candice is truly one of best wrestling champions around.

1. Britt Baker’S Dental Studies Kept Her From Getting Signed By Wwe

Baker, as most people know, is a professional wrestler. She is also a dental practitioner. Her life as a dentist plays into her role as a wrestler in AEW. It was her work as a dentist, however, that prevented her from signing a WWE deal.

Baker participated in a WWE trial. Former SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair was there, along with Lacey Evans as well Sonya Delville. Baker has been an active wrestler since a few months. However, she was able to impress those in charge.

Britt Baker spoke on Talk Is Jericho in 2020 and discussed why WWE didn’t sign her after she impressed decision-makers.

At the very end of the camp, Canyon Ceman pulled me aside (Senior Director of Talent Development for WWE and helps oversee NXT) and if you’re an independent wrestler, Canyon Ceman is like the gatekeeper. The WWE will not allow you to leave or let you in. He told me, you really did impress a lot of people at this tryout but as a father, I have a really hard time pulling someone from a professional degree for this business. And my heart just sank.

A couple weeks later, I received an email from him saying you have a lot of the qualities we look for, however, we don’t have an opportunity for us at this time, but if you have the passion to succeed in this, you will find a way to make this work throughout dental school. I’ll never forget that. It didn’t work out with WWE but it worked to my advantage even better because I am able to do both both careers.

AEW was and is a huge beneficiary of WWE’s decision to not sign Baker. Baker became one of the greatest performers in the business through AEW, and fans were able to witness the ground-breaking Lights Out match between Thunder Rosa and him.

Inside Britt Baker’S Dual-Life As Dentist And Rising Wrestling Star

Britt Baker All Elite Wrestling Doctor Britt Baker considers her time at All Elite Wrestling to be in the getting-to know-you stage, although it may not last too long.

Baker, a dentist by profession, thinks the mainstream wrestling fans still have a lot to learn about her, even though they were first exposed to her at last year’s “All In” payper-view. Full Gear’s Full Gear “Buy In” preshow Saturday will see Baker face rival Bea priestley at 7 pm, B/RLive in Baltimore. Baker, 28, was the first woman signed to AEW. Baker believes this is her opportunity to tell more about herself, and build relationships with fans. There is nothing more frustrating than to be in the middle of a fight where people don’t care. Because I do not want to be someone they don’t care about, I hope they have an opinion. “They can boo me or cheer me as long as they have some sort of reaction,” the Punxsutawney native stated that she is getting a response from local crowds but not enough to connect with the AEW community as a whole. Baker is only a guest on three of six episodes of AEW’s weekly “Dynamite” program, which airs every week on TNT.

Baker, also NXT champion Adam Cole’s girlfriend, feels that the fans are only getting “a taste” as she adjusts her live performances to weekly television. It’s added a level of pressure because “everyone is going to see every little slip up.” https://youtu.be/EbI7Up6qDkQ “I’m learning as I go,” said Baker, who started wrestling professionally in 2015. Because I haven’t been live on TV before, it’s really hard for me to handle. The women are like this, and we want to make you the star of the women’s section while you’re first on live TV. Baker feels that her emotional, edgy promo to Priestley’s match was a step towards her success. Baker said Priestley is “unprofessional” as well as “reckless,” for giving Baker a brain injury during the “Fight for the Fallen.” This kept Baker out of work for almost a week. Baker was nauseous, throwing up and couldn’t see out of the corner of her left eye.

Priestley gave Baker a severe black eye in a tag match of the Oct. 2 edition “Dynamite”, and cost her a chance to be the first AEW women’s champion.

“The response I received is so positive. It’s more personal and realistic, as I stated. It’s real and not fiction. It’s not a fabricated story. This is the actual deal.

Britt Bak All Elite Wrestling. Britt Baker is in real life as a participant in Wednesday Night War between WWE’s NXT & AEW. She has been the winner of the ratings battle for six weeks. Baker stated that Cole and Baker are supportive of one another’s career. They have embraced their situation, even creating a joint T-shirt with the phrase “The Real Wednesday Night Wars.” Baker did joke she’s let Cole know a “couple dozen times” what the scoreboard between the two companies looks like thus far.

“I have to say I poke the bear a little bit more with the competitive side than he does, so it’s all in good fun,” Baker said.

They both watch what the other is doing, including matches and promos when they have the chance. Baker stated that Cole was more trustworthy than Baker and she is “brutally honest”.

Baker stated that Baker is very insistent about keeping an eye on everything I do. “If he’s able to watch them live, like sneak it on his phone, he will. Cole will be there for “Monday Night Raw,” three days after he got his call. Baker called Cole’s moment right now his “dream and all that it is.”

Baker feels the exact same way about AEW. She says that there is “no greater place” than right now. The company’s schedule, which does not include the grind of house shows, allows Baker the ability to be both a dentist and a wrestler a dynamic she can not see herself changing. It also gave her the opportunity for a “coming-full-circle-moment” when she wrestled on the “Dynamite” held at the University of Pittsburgh, which is where Baker earned her doctorate.

Baker Juggles Two Careers, Aew’S Doctor In

TSN.ca sat down with Dr. Britt BAKER, D.M.D. TSN.ca caught up with Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. to discuss his life as a full-time wrestler/dentalist and her joy at being a heel. She also discussed the critics levelled against All Elite Wrestling’s women’s division.

D-Generation X and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin would launch the World Wrestling Federation’s halcyon, “Attitude Era” within a couple of years. However, the company remained at the “New Generation” stage.

With some of the WWF’s most well-known stars like Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage leaving the promotion for World Championship Wrestling, Vince McMahon began pushing some of his younger talent like Bret “The Hitman” Hart and Shawn Michaels.

The era saw many new stars on the main-event scenes, but one thing was missing: the addition of wrestlers working full-time. It was patently absurd. Duke Droese, also known as “The Dumpster”, was a trash man. There was TL Hopper, a professional wrestler. Bob Holly would continue a long and successful career, but it was his debut appearance as Thurman Sparky Plugg. This is an NASCAR NASCAR driver who wrestles.

During a heated feud with Hart, Jerry “The King” Lawler introduced an associate of his to take out the Hitman once and for all – his dentist. The company didn’t like to subtly refer to performers’ names, so Dr. Isaac Yankem DDS, a corpulent man with disgusting teeth, arrived to get rid of Hart…and possibly rip out his molars. Glenn Jacobs would go on to become a superstar as Kane after the Yankem gimmick ran its course.

Now, flash forward to 2021. There is another dentist working in pro wrestling. Only this time, it is actually a dentist. All Elite Wrestling’s Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., is both one of the faces of AEW’s women’s division and a practicing dentist, who works out of the Orlando area.

Baker is no stranger to hectic work hours, despite the fact that the coronavirus (19COVID-19), pandemic has disrupted her schedule over the last few months.

TSN.ca, a Punxsutawney PA native of 29 years, said: “Before COVID came, I would have worked in the Dental Office Monday and Tuesday. I then grabbed the latest flight to wherever we were wrestling.” “We would host AEW Dynamite live Wednesday and then Thursday morning. After that, I would work in the dental office Monday through Tuesday, grab the latest flight possible to any city we were wrestling in,” Punxsutawney, PA native, 29, told TSN.ca. Baker was able to enter both her field and the university at the same point. Baker entered wrestling school right as her 2014 University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine year began. Baker was trained as both an athlete and a dentist. But she says she has never thought about the day when she will have to make a choice.

Britt Baker got married in Pittsburgh and trained as a nurse and wrestler. She is now successful as one of the two after graduation from Pitt.

It’s Britt Baker, All Elite Wrestling’s competitor, in the video footage. This image is however before the introduction of the ring announcer. “Approaching ring from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Britt Baker (D.M.D.) Baker appears in a sequined dress, with prominently displayed a huge tooth.

In wrestling, in-ring characters rarely correspond to the real-world lives of the performers. Baker is an exception. Baker was an exception.

Baker said, “Some people called my crazy to their face.” “‘Britt, you have a guaranteed successful career as a dentist, and you’re training … for a job that has no guarantee of success.’ It was so enjoyable.

Baker, who is now 29, was raised in Punxsutawney. Her family includes “dentalists” and “wrestlers.” Baker first began to compete locally in 2015. After a year of training, Baker began traveling to perform at shows across the country. While traveling was tiring, and she also had to keep up a demanding course of school, it wasn’t difficult for her. She was fortunate to have many supporters. Joe [McMunn was an independent Jefferson Hills wrestler and my head trainer]. He always assured me that I would get the right degree. No, you’re not leaving school so early. She is not dropping out of school early, regardless of how long she wrestled, he stated that she could go on to become a dentist all her life.

Baker was correct: Baker, despite being a professional wrestler is still a dentist. The private office she works at is in Florida. It’s not far from All Elite Wrestling headquarters in Jacksonville.

“It’s kind of hard to believe that I get to live out both of my dreams. The dreams I’m pursuing are both people’s Plan C. But I’m not able to have one Plan B. I’ve been given the greatest gift imaginable.”

It was the COVID-19 plague that impacted her work schedule in both dentistry and wrestling. Her usual schedule was four days a weeks, except Wednesdays. On Wednesdays she’d fly to the host town for Dynamite, All Elite Wrestling’s live weekly show on TNT.

The flight she took to Pitt brought her back home on the 23rd of October 2019, in time for All Elite Wrestling’s debut area show. “The Petersen Events Center, which is only steps away from where I have spent the last four years of my childhood,” she said.

Everyone is professional and dedicated to deliver the best. I am sorry, I don’t remember all the names of the wonderful staff. Some of the names of the wonderful team members I remember I would like to mention like : Dr. Bains, Alex, Anna and Rupa. A big thank you for all the years for the amazing service🙏 Keep up the great work. You all are amazing! – RIGHT PATH LEARNING
I have been going to Angel Care Dental since I was a young child… so quite a while 😉 and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The facility is beautiful, the care and gentle touch mean everything to me because I don’t like going to the dentist – who does? But it’s different here and I leave feeling genuinely happy. Mihaela is the BEST hygienist and Dr Galo is kind and extremely gentle. Even a root canal isn’t half bad with Dr Galo! Dr Soraya is also wonderful! Thanks Angel Care. ☺️ – Tara H
