Medical marijuana can cause dry mouth. Similar to tobacco products, cannabis can also impair saliva flow. This leads to higher chances of tooth decay and gum disease.
Tooth discoloration – Tooth stains from weed are typically milder than those of tobacco. You may notice stains in your teeth if you’re a regular weed smoker.
Higher risk of oral cancer. Because marijuana is illegal under federal law, it has not been extensively researched. However, there are a handful of studies that have suggested smoking cannabis can raise your risk for oral cancer. This is less than what has been shown with tobacco.

Oral cancer may also be a sign. But, it is not clear that cannabis smoke can cause oral cancer. Pubmed claims that cannabis smoke causes oral cancer.

I have been going to Angel Care Dental since I was a young child… so quite a while 😉 and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
