Premium Components, Meticulous Engineering

Hypervolt’s GO feel just as good as the original Hypervolt. The build quality is the first thing you notice.

1.5 lbs makes the GO feel substantial in your hands. The weight makes it feel like a high-quality piece of equipment without being unwieldy or cumbersome. You will feel the device balanced in your hands and its rubberized handle feels soft.

Fleet Feet’s reviewer states that “it has a really satisfyingweight to it without burning your arm if it’s held for a while.”

Hyperice powered the massager with a rechargeable lithium ion battery. The massager will last for approximately 2.5 hours with a full charge. Its speed settings can affect the time it runs. Hyperice also included adapters to allow for use in countries with different power outlets. This was done in order to show the GO’s ability travel.

The box also contains two attachments for head: one is a wide, flat option and the other is a narrow, bullet-shaped choice. For large muscle groups, such as your chest, quads and hamstrings and back, the flat head works well. The bullet attachment allows you to precisely target trigger points within your glutes and hips.

The GO’s intuitive operation is one of its best features. One tester who had never used a massage gun before found it easy to take out of the box and put to use without fiddling with settings or complicated instructions.

“It is simple to grasp and easy to use,” she stated. It includes two massage heads, which are very easy to put on and take off. It is much lighter than the Hypervolt and it’s larger overall. Designers managed to drop a full-pound of weight while keeping the three speed options, and the percussive power.

Quiet, Powerful Operation For Warmup And Recovery

The HypervoltGO’s smaller dimensions don’t mean it is less powerful. However, it provides the necessary power to perform a warm up and recovery.

Hyperice developed the GO with its proven brushless engine. The 40W model in the GO is powerful and consistent. The GO uses the same QuietGlide technology of the Hypervolt so you can run it without having to wake up your dog or house.

Fleet Feet reviewers love the GO’s powerful punch.

“Even the lowest setting is quite powerful,” one reviewer says. “I tend to not go higher that the lowest setting on GO,” another reviewer said. A third tester used the device for several weeks to increase her warmup time and cooling down after tough runs.

She says that she does a lot of glute activation prior to running and the Hypervolt Go helps speed it up to prepare my muscles for the run. It is also great for recovery. I tend to get pretty sore after speed workouts and long runs, and the GO helps me to loosen up.” The two head attachments give the tool more versatility. Users love that the attachments can be changed quickly to work on different areas.

“The flat head is great for an all-over massage or targeting broad areas, like the quads or calves,” one reviewer says. I found the pointed head to be more effective for deeper and targeted massages along problem areas like my hips, hamstrings, and hips.

What Is It?

HypervoltGO retains all the essence of the original Hypervolt and tweaks it just a little to shrink it down by 30 percent. This reduction in the size of the Hypervolt GO also means a lower price. At $199, the price of admission to the Hypervolt ecosystem is now more “affordable” than ever.

Despite minor design tweaks (no pun intended), GO remains a hypervolt. The GO, like its peers, feels extremely premium in the hands. All the details, including the signature black soft touch exterior and silicon-clad handle as well as the green battery light, have been passed down in a ceremony.

As with other mini massage guns that we have recently reviewed, there are tradeoffs. It’s unlikely that you will get the same level of percussive massaging as your elder brothers.

The GO is not a hypervolt full-size, however, it might be enough to satisfy your requirements.

We now move on to the negatives.

The Hypervolt Go was the one we were meant to love, but it just wasn’t for us.

As we just mentioned, it’s the most powerful mini massage gun we’ve tested to date. We recommend this product. First, it is a bit loud.

Let’s see: The GO is quiet and silent when it’s turned on. However, the moment you start applying downward pressure on the massage head, it turns into a rattling mess. It is not clear if the unit we reviewed was defective. However, the added pressure seems to cause the internal rotating shaft of the massage head to hit the body. The noise is alarming and can make you think that the whole thing might have a problem.

Other than noise, the only thing we dislike about the GO is its physical appearance. It’s beautiful. Feels great. Overall, we give it two thumbs-up from the team.

Be aware of a few other minor issues that may be of concern.

We’ve been very vocal about this in the past, but we disdain the fact that the Hypervolt GO does not come with a carrying case. Unlike every other company on the planet, including Theragun, Hyperice never includes a case with their massage guns. This little accessory is available for $49 extra. It’s insane.

Similar to the baggage fee charged by airlines, it feels unfair that you pay more for something that is not included.

The Hyperice Hypervolt GO: Meet the Team

This is why the Go has a niche: it’s portable and convenient for people who move a lot. It’s a mini massage gun . Mini massage guns are a new trend and various brands have attempted to introduce mini versions of existing models.

These devices are not as good as they could be, and some manufacturers have made them too fast. Hypervolt, however, was this rushed or did Hyperice develop a mini massager that is well thought-out?

The industry’s pioneers, along with Theragun (recently Therabody), is Hyperice. One might suggest that they were rivals for a long time.

Theragun’s Theragun mini was launched in May 2020. The Go appeared in November of 2020. Hyperice may not have had enough time to create their minigun. Is it worth the wait. Let’s find out!

Attachments

The Go comes with only 2 attachments:

This is important if you want to hit large muscle groups like the quads and hamstring. This can also be applied to your chest and back.

This product is for the treatment of trigger points in muscles, such as ligaments, shoulder blades, and muscle knots. Perfect for use on feet, The Go includes only 2 attachments.

A massage gun that is expensive only has two attachments. We reviewed many devices, including some that have at least three attachments.

Hyperice could have made a better choice than Theragun Mini because it has one attachment.

You should also note it is compatible with other Hypervolt attachments. This should not be an issue if you have a Hypervolt of full size.

Hyperice is looking to sell the Go to more clients, just as Theragun did for their Mini.

*Caress May Not Be All That Tender At All.

The Hypervolt’s motor runs strong. The 40W motor inside the Hypervolt is far more powerful than the massagers you may have seen at Clicks. You can’t press too hard on the chest, and you will lose your breath. Press on the back of your neck and your vision disappears. To make your vision disappear, you can rub the ball against bones, such as your forearm and protruding shoulder bone. However, it will make your muscles forget how hard they worked before.

The battery can last for around two and a half hours, but it takes more time to charge the new rechargeable. It weighs in at less than one kilo, and the TSA (the world’s most stringent airline security agency outside of a warzone) will allow it to travel with luggage. This means that it shouldn’t be a problem if you take it along for sand volleyball or other coastal events. Chances are, you’ll keep it with you regardless of how bulky it gets in your bag at work.

Hyperice Hypervolt Go Review The Hyperice Hypervolt Go is not a massager. At least, it’s not what you think of when you hear the name. The first thing you should know is that it’s not relaxing. This is a good piece of exercise equipment. It allows your body to do more work and not suffer from any lingering effects. Hypervolt’s massage device can bring out your best muscle, and sometimes it can even make the pain disappear completely. Hypervolt’s massage gun weighs 700g, is lightweight and can be taken with you anywhere.

It’s definitely worth the R4,000 to get featured Hyperice hypervolt Go review.
