Truff Hot Sauce Review
Three different Truff hot sauces were tried by me to determine if I believed the hype.
It is a delicious, unexpected sauce that will elevate nearly any food you serve it.

I’m Jonathan, and, like many people this past year, my food intake has been a symphony of slapdash home cooking experiments and zhuzhed up leftover takeout while I patiently awaited the day when I could return to my one true love eating in restaurants. But one thing that’s majorly elevated even my least exciting meals has been this amazing Truff truffle-infused hot sauce Like you, I’d seen the hype, read the rave reviews, and noted that it was Oprah-approved , but I was still skeptical that Truff could possibly be as good as everyone was saying…until I tried it for myself.

Credit: Amazon For a year without many bright spots, this little condiment was just the bit of joy I needed to warm my tired soul (and turn up the heat on my scrambled eggs).
This 1.5-ounce bottle was my first foray into the world of Truff . Of course, I’d heard of the widely beloved truffle-infused hot sauce (which was one of Oprah’s “Favorite Things” in 2019 ), but I’m ashamed to admit that I didn’t taste it until 2021 technically.
After my confession, I am now able to confidently state that I’m on the Truff Train. It’s more sweet than spicy, thanks to the addition of agave nectar, so if hot, hot heat is what you’re after, then look elsewhere. It’s made from red chili peppers and organic agave nectar. The combination creates sweet, spicy, deliciously truffley goodness. My favorite application for Truff is of the breakfast variety, but it’s also great on french fries, burgers, wings, deviled eggs the sky is the limit, really.
Lauren Masur. This is a great tasting product with unbeatable packaging. The mini-size version is available in an extremely sturdy and almost luxurious glass bottle with a shiny geometric cap. It’s so pretty you’ll wish you could leave it out on the counter just to look at. You can not leave it out on the counter, however. It needs to be stored in the refrigerator after opening. I went through 1.5 ounces and then decided it was time to go online for the full size, 6 ounce version. This hot sauce is available from Truff direct or Amazon. This product is affordable and contains real truffles
The company’s three hot sauce varieties White Truffle Hotter The Original all cost $17.98 per bottle on its website . For $69.99, you can purchase the variety pack which includes all three. The Original and Hotter are both infused with black truffle essence, while the White Truffle contains white truffle essence.
Even though the price might be a little high for a hot sauce, it is still worth considering that every condiment contains real truffle. Summer truffles are usually priced at around $400 per kilogram, although other kinds of black truffles may sell for more.
PepperScale calls the sauce a medium-heat hot sauce with a truffle taste. The reviewer points out how this taste is not overwhelming, but it is still definitely present.
In fact, a con it gives the product is that its truffle flavor isn’t for everyone. You’ll get the exact truffle flavor you desire if that’s what you’re after.

These oils are excellent on almost all pasta types. Black Truffle Oil is another great oil that you might have tried. Although it is a bit more expensive at $24.99 for 6-ounces, this oil can be used to drizzle on salads and fries.

Oprah, one of TRUFF’s most famous and oldest fans, is also a fan. Oprah featured TRUFF products in her 2019 “Favorite Things List” and stated that the “packaging is cool, but the hot sauce tastes sublime!” Oprah Daily According to In the Know, Pusha T, a rapper, and Tyler Florence, a chef, are also famous TRUFF fans. Although the brand originated from an Instagram account, it is now thriving on TikTok. Auntie Amanda Lee is one celebrity who has been a huge fan of TRUFF products. She can be seen reviewing the various hot sauce varieties in this video. There’s no way to ignore the excitement when you see your favourite celebrities raving about TRUF’s products.
Most Hot Sauce with Truffle Oil

Truff White Truffle Hot Sauce Review
After another plate of hot sauces has been consumed, we can now review another batch. Like The Lord of the Rings and Star Wars, it’s time to bring this trilogy to an end. This is my final look at Truff hot sauces. Although I think I know how it will go, I have been more surprised than I expected. So, let’s get into it as I try Truff’s White Truffle Infused Hot Sauce.
I mentioned in previous Truff reviews about the box that the sauce comes in. The White Truffle box is a step above. Take a look.
Yeah. This is textured paper with gold foil. And that’s just the outside.
This is how it arrives inside. This bottle of hot sauce, without a doubt, is the fanciest thing in my entire apartment. Seriously. Take a look at the countertop. See that wall at the back. This sauce is much more valuable than my possessions. These bottles and boxes feel like they belong here. As if someone famous knocked at my door wearing an expensive outfit worth more that the building in which I am sitting. Anyway. It’s not really about the look. It’s all about how it tastes. To be honest, the sauce is what I really want before I consume it. Let’s take a look at the sides of the bottle.
We once more start with Truff Chili Blend which has red peppers, vinegar, sugar, garlic, and salt. However, instead of black truffle, we have white truffle powder concentrate. It makes complete sense, since it is the white truffle sauce. After that, we once more have agave nectar, so this sauce will once more be rather sweet. Then, there’s olive oil infused with white truffle. As I’ve said before, I respect the amount of truffle that Truff puts into their sauces. You could easily just hold the bottle up to a photo of a truffle, and then say that it has the essence of truffle. Or nonsense. No. They have truffle in a variety of places. The price will go up a bit, but it is worth it. You get what you pay. After oil are cumin (coriander), and xanthan jam. This time we are not using any color enhancers. The sauce itself is what it is. You can also be very straight forward with your ingredients.
This sauce, once more, stays put on the nuggets when I pour it on. It’s a smooth sauce and maybe just a little more runny than regular ketchup. I applies easily and sticks to the nuggets just fine.
If you smell it, the sauce is about 95% as good as black truffle sauce. But there’s something slightly different. Let’s see how that affects the flavor.
Is Truff Hot Sauce Worth It?
