There’s also some clever decoupling to make this a great riding shoe.

Brooks Revel Upper info The Brooks RELEV upper is thicker and more comfortable than one would expect from an all knit shoe. It has an inner bootie which wraps your foot for a tight feel at the midfoot. It did not experience any issues with durability during rain testing and does not absorb excess liquid.
