It’s perfect for siblings, twins, and play dates – two kids can jump simultaneously while holding on to the sturdy center handle. While we tried the 60 inch model seaside, the 48 inch is similar. Skywalker trampoline is an excellent brand that has a good reputation for reliability and safety. The trampoline does not disappoint. It is suggested for kids aged 3 to 7, and has a 100 pound weight limit. It has a 360-degree padded handle on the outside that can be used to hold onto by kids when they begin jumping. There is no pinch risk as the unit has bungee springs instead of springs. But bungees can wear faster than either metal springs and elastic straps so this will be a safer option. We have one of these units in our back yard now for almost four years. It has not suffered any breakage and remains sturdy. While the foam vertical bar pads and white foam bars have almost disintegrated, they have all been bleached and are no longer visible. It still works well! It has a zippered opening, which makes it less irritating than regular Velcro. This trampoline isn’t easy to put together. The instructions are terrible and there are tons of pieces. It also requires some tricky flexing in order to attach the inside handlebars. Skywalker has a series of these “jump n’ dunk” trampolines that starts as small as an 8-foot diameter, and goes as large as a 17-foot diameter. You can choose from regular, rectangular or oval models. You can also find them in different colors such as blue, green and red. Although they are larger and more durable than other options on the list, these springs can be quite costly relative to those of higher quality brands. The safety features remain: they are placed on the inner side of high-quality heavy duty springs. Their weight ranges between 175 and 250 pounds, depending on their size. We found overall good build quality, including strong welds as well as galvanized steel T bars at key support points. Entry and exit are through a dual zippered slit. This allows you to unzip either from the inside or the outside. To prevent jumping into the bars, the vertical bars at the sides have been foam-padded and contoured with a curve. UV protection is provided to stop the padding from fading. It is important to note that trampolines are measured by the width of their frames. Therefore, the jumping surface will always measure approximately two feet less in size. So an 8-foot trampoline is more like 6-foot diameter jumping surface, a 12-foot trampoline is more like a 10-foot jumping surface, and so on. We used the 12-foot trampoline for our testing. We took 2 hours to put together the trampoline (with 2 persons) with help from the spring-pull device. It was well-built, had great jumping, and seemed durable. Although the velcro-on/off basketball hoops were a great addition, we didn’t use them much so it was just removed. Over time, we expected the foam covers of the vertical bars to lose quality, the padding to fade in color, and the entrance/exit zipper to break. Since the date of this writing 8 months have passed and neither the zipper nor the foam cover has broken. The color of the pad is starting to fade, even with the protection from UV, but this is normal with any item left out in bright sunlight. It is a good trampoline that will serve you well for years. Our favorite trampoline size is the 12-foot one. It has enough space to fit growing kids and enough weight capacity for parents with under 200 lbs. The parents also get half the joy by being able to bounce! A trampoline larger than the one you see in this video is recommended. The trampoline can support multiple years of great fun.

Although it is very similar in design to the 60′ Seaside Adventure this model works well for smaller areas. It has a diameter of 40 inches, which means a jumping surface that is 30 inches wide. While this may be too small for little ones it can save lots of space. You will love all of the features of the 60 inch version: zippered opening, perimeter handlebars, strong netting material and a sturdy construction. This configuration is a little narrow at 40 inches, which makes it uncomfortable inside. However, it worked well for all our children, ranging from age 3 to 6. The 7-year-old gave it a try and found it too restrictive to her liking. You can still enjoy a lot of fun with it, even though the weight is 100 pounds less than that of its larger counterpart. We didn’t enjoy the assembly process, which is similar to the larger model. You should also note that the vertical foam padding will fall apart slightly if it is left out like the previous one. You can purchase this online for just $55. It should last between 2 and 3 years. Your toddler will eventually grow out of it.
