Is there a Publix Dress Code 2022?
Publix’s dress code consists of a green-collared shirt, black or khaki dress pants, and shoes that are of an approved color for your department. Apron and slip-resistant shoes may also be required in some departments. You’re allowed facial hair, tattoos, and facial piercings, but you cannot have outlandish colored hair or long nails.
The Publix Uniform: What does this mean?
Publix offers two matching shirts with collars and two aprons. But you must purchase your own shoes and pants.
Publix offers additional options for uniforms, as well as Starbucks coffee shop baristas with Starbucks caps that feature the logo.
Which Shoes Are You Required to Wear to Publix?
All Publix workers in produce, seafood and meat departments, as well as bakery employees, will need to wear slip-resistant footwear, which includes baristas.
Employees of Publix who work in different departments don’t need slip-resistant shoes. However, all employees must adhere to the same rules when choosing colors.
The shoes may be both non-athletic and athletic. Non-athletic shoes must have gray, tan or dark brown shoes.

You must also make sure that your pants are either dress or business casual.
Employees must wear pants that are at least waist high and have a belt if there is a loop.
How do Publix employees wear shirts?
All Publix workers must wear green shirts that have a collar and must be buttoned down. Some departments allow the button to remain unbuttoned.
Furthermore, your shirts must always be clean, neat, professional and properly tucked in. There are very few exceptions.
Is it possible to wear a sweatshirt over your Publix Uniform
You can wear sweaters, jackets, and sweatshirts over your Publix uniform, but they must be dark blue, brown, gray, black, white, khaki, or dark green. You cannot wear a hooded sweatshirt, jacket or sweater.
If you are wearing a sweater or jacket, your name tag must still be visible.
Can You Wear Black Jeans at Publix?
You cannot wear black jeans or jeans of any kind as an employee at Publix, since it’s business casual attire only.
Publix also prohibits the wearing of cargo pants, leggings and any other type pants.
Publix Has What Color Hair?
Publix will only accept natural-colored hair.
Additionally, if your hair is longer than shoulder-length, it should be kept in a ponytail or hidden inside of your shirt.
Can I work in a Publix with a Beard
But, beards must always be kept clean.
Food safety regulations and rules may mean that you are not allowed to maintain your facial hair when you work in the food or beverage departments.
At Publix, can I wear a baseball cap?
Certain employees such as Front Service Clerks can wear ball caps, however they need to be ordered through Publix.
Also, you cannot wear the Publix knit caps all the time.
Starbucks baristas are also allowed to wear ball caps and they will be provided by Publix as part of the barista uniform.
Publix won’t allow anyone to wear a hat if they aren’t in an approved department.
Publix allows employees to wear earrings.
Publix will allow you to wear earrings. You can have no more than 4 perches on your ears and the gauge must not exceed 3 inches.
Can You Wear Long Nails Working at Publix?
Publix is against the wearing of long nails.
Can you get tattoos while working at Publix
Although you are allowed to have tattoos at Publix, they ask you to cover them while you work. However, some managers may not care whether your tattoo is visible.
There are different policy policies for each store. However, you should cover any unattractive tattoos.
Publix can you have facial piercings
Two facial piercings are allowed: one for each eyebrow, nose, mouth, or bite. However, you cannot have a septum piercing and you can only have one tongue piercing.
