The Asus VivoBook 17 laptop is a great option if you aren’t looking to splash out on a large 17-inch model. It features a 1600 x 900 display, a 2.3GHz AMD Ryzen7 3700U quad core CPU, 12GB RAM and Radeon Vega10 graphics. Performance-wise, the laptop’s hardware get you more than enough power for day-to-day tasks, content streaming, and light gaming.

This 17-inch screen version was not reviewed by us, however, in our Asus VivoBook 15 reviews, we loved its attractive design, good audio quality, and comfy keyboard. The VivoBook 17 was equipped with the Ryzen 7 CPU, 12GB RAM and the same processor as this laptop. One test saw 15 to 25 Google Chrome tabs opened, with several of them editing documents while others ran videos. We were able to see the VivoBook’s solid performance.

The VivoBook 17 weighs 5 pounds and measures 16.00 x 10.00 x 0.8 in. It is also lighter than both the Dell XPS 17 (6 pounds, 14.7 x 9.8 x 0.8 in.) and HP Envy 17t (6.5 pounds, 15.7 x 10.2 x 0.8in.).

Connectivity wise, the Asus VivoBook 17 has a wide range of ports. The VivoBook 17 comes with two USB Type A ports and a USB Type C. It also has a USB 3.1 Port, 3.5mm audio jack, and 2.1 USB Type A. You also get a microSD card reader and a 3,5mm audio jack.
