Bling-bling! This is how I would describe JBW’s timepieces if it were possible.
The India-originating brand produces some of the most decorated watch models I’ve come across in the last few years. For sure, they’re as attention-worthy as they come. Are these good choices for those who, beyond their looks, value quality and precision?
You know the old saying, “Not all that glitters in gold is good”. JBW, or does that only apply to JBW and other brands that are trying to emulate the brand’s look? This JBW watches review is likely to deliver definite answers to these and more questions.
Just like any other piece of writing, the JBW Brand Review also begins with a brief overview of its history. JBW is a brand that’s relatively new, no matter what way you view it.
If we were to go back to the very beginning of the enterprise that then led to the creation of JBW watches, we’d have to start in 1950. That was the year that the Meghani family became the mavericks in the timepiece industry by starting to sell Swiss watch models in the untried market of India.
After the massive and quite prompt success in India, the family opened 4 retail shops in Dubai, UAE. Akber Mangani, who was leading the 2nd family generation in the trade, took all of their distributing business to the United States.
Jbw Watches: How Expensive Are They?
The price of a JBW watch will depend on the collection, its overall quality and, most importantly when it comes to this brand, the number of diamonds it’s been decorated with.
They call their watches “Entry-Level luxury” due to the reliability of their movements and the inclusion of natural, earth-sourced, diamonds. It’s quite honest to say that I don’t see anything wrong with this statement.
You can shop at JWB’s online store or Amazon.com for low-end models starting from just $199 and not including more than 12 gems.
The higher you go up the price ladder, the more refined the watch is likely to be. You can see this in the more sophisticated look of your watch, with a sapphire dial, or a higher number of diamonds. Some watches, like the newest Jet Setter Platinum Series, can cost you well above $2000 and features as many as 570 diamonds.
However, once you have explored the different JBW collections you will realize that most of them are very affordable, and you can purchase them in the $200-$500 range.

It’s difficult to say whether a brand is good or not, as it is with most watch brands. It is necessary to evaluate your personal expectations regarding a watch and to also compare that brand to other brands in the same price bracket.

Excellent Great Average Poor Bad Worst customer service EVER! I paid almost $30 to have overnight shipping. Fedex claimed it arrived at my home at 4:02pm. I was not home during the delivery and did not receive a parcel. I also have a ring doorbell and nothing was ever delivered. I reached out to JBW about the issue and the basically said oh well. Because packages get stolen daily, I will need to file an investigation with the police. How does that amount to customer service? Don’t do it again. Just going to dispute it with my bank I ordered my watch through Amazon, everything arrived as it should, awesome watch, great condition and delivered to my door as expected.
Their return system is terrible. It is impossible to receive any help and answers from their customer service. It is impossible to get any help from their customer service regarding returning items. Since I’m from Denmark, the order number as well as my ZIP/postcode aren’t being entered correctly. I have tried to reach customer service several times, and still no response.
I bought an IWC Portugieser Automatic 40 at PS3,800 through JB Watches Madrid via Chrono 24. The watch shown in the photos was in very good shape with gold numerals.
I received an IWC Portugieser in very good condition with silver numerals, blue strap and significant wear. The seller acknowledged the error and offered to refund shipping costs from Ireland back to Spain. Even after sending many emails, I was still not refunded for the postage. The cost of the postage was close to PS200, as I needed to fully insure and collect the item from my workplace.
Chrono24 eventually reimbursed me for the purchase, after several phone calls. But, the seller continued to send abusive emails to his infuriated customer, saying that he was “sour and bitter”. All in all, this was a truly unpleasant experience and put me off the used watch market. I will not be buying from this person again.
I have never written a negative online review of any business in the past, but this businessman was so egregiously rude to me that I feel obliged.
A Armani watch was a birthday present that I got, but the strap fell off within weeks. I tried to reach out, but they did not provide an email. Emails bounced back. The website no longer exists that I can find, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!
