L’Oreal Sublime Bronze Hydrating Self Tanning Water Mousse Review
I have decided to make use of the time I had to evaluate new products since our shelter-in-place was in effect. I have been wanting to find a self tanner that I could use at home that wouldn’t streak or make my skin look orange for the longest time. And I hesitated to try and find a self tanner because I was worried about it not looking right and being forced to be seen out in public. It’s a great time to experiment with a variety of options.
I know just like with most beauty and skincare products, they aren’t one size (skin tone) fits all. Products that are effective for my skin may not work well for someone with olive skin. My peers’ suggestions are trustworthy, but I do know that I will have to go through a lot of recommendations to get the best product for me. Once my self tanners had arrived, I was able to test it out and want to share the results with everyone.
L’Oreal Sublime Bronzing Hydrating Water Mousse is what I tried. It was recommended by another beauty blogger that I admire, and I found a good review. Loving Tan is what she uses, but she reviewed the more economical option. I was most impressed by her comment on the smell. I liked that she made a point to say it smelled really good and didn’t have that self tanner smell. Since I have sensitive noses to the smells of self-tanner, this product was not for me. I love the scent of this product. Justin was a big fan of the scent.
It is essential to scrub your skin thoroughly before using self-tanner. Before I took a shower, I dry-brushed my skin. To make my skin smooth for applying my self-tanner, I used my exfoliating body wash. After my skin was completely dry post shower I applied the L’Oreal Sublime Bronze Hydrating Self Tanning Water Mousse. I used a tanning mit to help protect my hands from turning orange. I applied my self tanner twice in 24 hours to achieve the color I desired. The best tan lasts for up to three applications within 24 hours.
Because I felt the L’Oreal Sublime Bronze Hydrating Sub-Tanning Water Mousse had made my face appear a little darker after my second application, I decided to apply it on my face. As opposed to applying more tanning mousse before I applied the product to my face, what I had left over from my tanning mit was used to apply the lotion to my face. A week later, I added tanning drops to my favorite moisturizer. The result was a nice glow on my face after washing it off the previous morning.
The L’Oreal Sublime bronze Hydrating Self-Tanning Water Mousse is a great option! The 8/10 rating is because I do not have any comparisons. It’s easy to build. Without looking too orange, you can get the exact color you are after. It lasts about a week if you apply more than once. You will love the smell. It is an 8 out 10 rating and not 10. This could be because I didn’t feel the need to apply another product and that it took me a while to finish the entire bottle. While I am not certain how long self-tanner bottles are supposed to last, it is likely that I only will have to purchase another.
