Image credit to OnePlus. The OnePlus Nord N100 is a smartphone that seems suitable for our list of best budget phones. It costs just PS179 in UK, or about $230, AU$330. That’s the lowest price OnePlus has ever released a phone.
Nord N100 features a 6.52-inch display. We haven’t measured the refresh rate and resolution, but they seem to be HD and 60Hz. It is separated by a “punchhole” in the top left.
This chipset is the Snapdragon460. It won’t have the most powerful processing power, but it will be very affordable. A 4GB RAM option and 64GB storage are available – there is no 5G, it sounds like.
Perhaps the biggest selling point here is the 5,000mAh battery and, depending on the phone’s display specs (that have yet to be detailed) it could power the handset for two whole days of use.
This 18W charger is OK.
The main 13MP camera is joined to the rear by the bokeh, macro, and main cameras. However, they have unknown resolutions, just like the selfie cam.
We need to know a lot more about these phones before we can say they sound truly exciting – we’re waiting on more info from OnePlus at the moment and we’ll make sure to get full reviews on both as soon as possible.
