The differences in sizes and varieties

We tested the 75 inch Sony X95J Bravia XR TV (XB75X95J), and it’s also available in a 65 inch and 85 inch size. While most of the results are valid for all sizes, there are slight differences between the 65-inch and 65 inch models.

Obviously most of the attention when it comes to Sony TVs in 2021 has been focused towards their flagship OLED, the A90J, and not without reason as it was Sony’s first OLED TV to use the new improved panel with a heatsink in order to push the brightness more than traditional OLED panels can do. Sony also has a stellar lineup of LED LCDs. Today’s Sony X95J Review will focus on their best 4K LCD offerings for the year.

Our recent reviews of X95Js and X90Js were very similar. It is hard to know which model will suit your particular needs. The X95J, aside from an obvious omission in 55-inch size, has the exact same specifications sheet as the X90J. Sony’s mistake as this adds confusion and does not make it easy for customers to distinguish between them. However, don’t panic as we’ll soon identify their differences.

Sony X95J Review: Price Matches Performance

*** TVReviewland.com may earn commissions from qualifying purchases via affiliate links. This Sony X95J Review focuses solely on this series of flagship LED TVs. The Sony X95J offers the highest performance product line this year.

Sony X95J stands out and grabs your attention from the moment you first see it. The panel’s design is only part of the review. We are going to focus on its performance. We still need to start at the beginning. Let’s look at its design.

Sony X95J Review – Design and build The size of the screens could have been one of the manufacturer’s design choices. Sony goes with large screens for the X95J series, so the TV is only available in 65, 75, and 85 inches. You can combine the huge amount of screen real estate with a thin, 2.6 inch-thick side-profile. It creates a futuristic panel with a foldable appearance.

Seamless titanium bezels frame the screen while fading into the background, thanks to their thinness. They blend right in the back panel and form a one-unit combination chassis. The X95J comes with adjustable, metallic legs that allow for three spacing pre-sets. This allows for a limited amount of freedom when you are designing your entertainment center. A wall mount may be the best option depending on the size and weight of the TV. We now come to the back panel. It is an important design feature in this product range.

Sony’s team chose a grid pattern for the X95J back panel. It has a smooth area at the middle. The smooth area is the location of a 300x300mm VESA wall mount pattern. Insets of two are found at the bottom left corner of the panel. Although the ports on the sides are easily accessible, you might find it difficult to access the down-facing ones.

Conversation Starter #@sonydude2021 Please respect that i do not intend to carry out any laboratory research about these TV’s. I was looking to see if I liked certain models that I’ve already read about. The X95J appears very much the same as the X90J. If you saw it, I was eager to see it. I did. But it was not enough for the extremely premium price.

I don’t need to take them home and do a side-by-side. All of the information I’ve seen is reliable and I believe the X90J to be better than the X80J. The X85J should also prove superior, especially since I enjoy movies.

The X90J was what I had in mind. I’m sure they weren’t lowering the specs of the X95J, and the X90J looked good beside it (or in my case, under it). If they think my home will improve their appearance, those TV’s must be very good. I didn’t see anything big enough to make me think the X95J is worth a ton of extra money, so I think the analysis was useful for me so far. I have already stated clearly that I plan to bring my own video material with me.

Someone who has lots of money but isn’t afraid to spend it on something else (but not necessarily a lot… it’s hard to tell), can get it. If they are looking for a Sony LED then the process is over.

The A90J, A80J reviews match up to what I saw.

Some people are like me. These people care deeply about the things they see on TV.

I believe you could do your own laboratory testing if both of your television’s are installed side-by-side if they happen to be in your home. Let me know the results. We will then know, I suppose, if I was right.

Sony X95J 4K Hdr Tv Review

Google Smart Smart LED TV Intro Sony’s 4K TV, X95J (120Hz), is the flagship model of their 4K TV. This TV is available in 3 sizes, 65″ 75″ 85″ or 85″ models. Current pricing is $1,998.00 (65″), $2,998.00 (75″) and $3,498.00 (85″). This review is for the 75″ model. Essentially the results in this review can be applied to the 65″ and 85″ models with a couple of exceptions which include the “X-Anti Reflection” technology and the “Narrow” stand position options not available on the 65″ model.

Design & Features The X95J has a simple yet attractive design. The display’s front is presented in a simple but elegant design. This allows you to concentrate on the images. Because of its ultra-thin border (bezel), the TV’s display screen is able to focus on the images. The X95J has a semi-gloss screen surface and is illuminated with full-array LED backlighting with local dimming.

The TV’s rear panel is textured and adds to its aesthetic appeal. Most TV owners will overlook this feature due to their typical home setup where they have the back against a solid wall. Also, plastic covers can hide inputs as well as attachment points for feet.

Talking of feet, there are three types of mounting position for the 85″ and 75 inch models. These mounting locations include a “narrow position”, “wide position” and a “soundbar position” that elevates the TV high enough for a soundbar to be placed in front of the TV without blocking the picture. With minimal wobble, the “wide position” or “soundbar location” offer the most support to the LCD panel.

The X95J’s overall quality is excellent and exudes a high-end quality that one would expect in a flagship product.
