You can transform the way you look by incorporating direct acids to your skincare regimen, be it a serum or toner. Exfoliation with chemical acids can reduce imperfections, darken skin, improve texture and give you a glowing complexion. It is important to use these products correctly, or they could cause more damage than good. The basics of proper acid use include: not to use them everyday, not in a routine with retinoids or other acids and you must always wear SPF.

The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution is an effective acid toner that’s perfect for a nighttime routine. Glycolic Acid, an AHA, is great at fading dark spots, fighting signs of anti-aging and creating a radiant complexion. The toner contains aloe vera, tasmanian Pepperberry and other soothing ingredients. Acids can cause irritation. The product can be used by many people, is inexpensive and provides a way to add acids to your skincare routine.

Review Toning Solution: Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7.7% Toning Solutions Review includes 7% Glycolic Acid. Amino Acids. Ginseng. Tasmanian Pepperberry. Glycolic Acid is an AHA that’s common. It chemically exfoliates skin to give it a radiant, smooth complexion and fades dark spots. It soothes irritation and is effective in combating itching caused by acidic substances such as ginseng and aloe.

How can you tell the difference in acid toners from acid serums? An acid toner absorbs quicker into the skin and is more prone to stinging and burning. The acid serum is slower to absorb and gives longer-lasting, deeper results. Both have their pros and cons, however, an acid serum can be used if it is effective for you. Note that this is an acid-toner and you cannot use it daily, even after cleansing.

The most important thing to note is that you should not be exfoliating daily or layering this toner with other acid or exfoliating products. The Ordinary warns that the use of 7% Glycolic is not compatible with other acids or retinoids. This product can be used as a nighttime moisturizer. Other acids or retinoids can be used on alternate nights.

I’m literally glowing with The Ordinary’S Glycolic acid Toner

TikTok made me buy it.

Earlier this month, Hong Kong was hit with a third wave of confirmed COVID-19 cases, forcing many to work from home again. My skin suffered from the first lockdown in February and continued to the end April. The summer heat and humidity caused me to have a lot acne on my forehead and chin.

I am going to make this my best skincare regime ever, based on what I know from the past.

The Ordinary products have been a blessing for me. I saw promising results using the Niacinamide 10%+ Zinc1% serum and AHA30 + BHA22% Peeling Solve, so I decided to give their Glycolic Acid Toning Solution a go.

Read my review below to see what I thought about the toner.

According to The Ordinary, you should incorporate the solution into your night routine. However, it is recommended that you do not apply it more often than twice a day. While you may feel some discomfort upon applying the product, this sensation is very manageable. After using the product, I was amazed at how clear and radiant my skin looked the next day. Toner was a great option for me because it helped reduce the appearance of hormonal acne. After a few days, my acne cleared.

Here are some ingredients for the ordinary Glycolic acid Toner

Water, glycolic acid. Rose damascena and centaurea cyanus flowers water. Aloe barbadensis leaves water. As with other AHAs glycolic acid can cause skin to become more sensitive to UV light. Therefore, it is important to only use glycolic acid at night. Glycolic acid is supposedly colorless, but The Ordinary Glycolic Acid Toning Solution actually has a yellowish tint to it. Glycolic acid may be extracted from natural sugars. That could explain why this toner includes three types sugars: sucrose, glucose, or fructose. It also comes with a regular bottle cap and a squeeze bottle cap for squeezing it onto a cotton pad.

For those with more severe conditions such acne scarring and other skin issues, the products may not provide you the results you are looking for.

How effective is The Standard Glycolic Acid Toner?

Studies have shown that glycolic acids peels can improve scarring and acne. They are safe to use at concentrations of 20% to 70%. The peels should be removed after a minimum of 15 minutes.
