Winix 5500-2 Air Purifier
It is a powerful fan and consumes little power at standard speed (5 watts), it has accurate sensors that detect air quality. A silent mode activated by light sensor activates the 5500-2 (C555). Tests show that this product effectively cleans air for smaller spaces (360 sq. ft.).

Air purifiers of higher cost are not able to match their overall performance. We have consistently found that the 5500-2 effectively removes PM2.5 particles in all our testing. The 5500-2 has been running in a great place for more than a year. This is despite the fact that it was subject to smoke inhalation from wildfires in San Francisco Bay Area. One caveat. AQI may spike when we open our doors to the outside or prepare food in the kitchen. But, the Winix air sensor will detect the decrease in quality and turn red (see the photos below) so that the fan can quickly return things to normal.

However, one downside is the dust sensor of Winix C535 needs to be cleaned regularly. I have read many reviews of it stop functioning properly after a while, and I will update this review as soon as I find any problems.
