Are There Items That Can’t Be Returnned to Walmart by 2022?

Walmart does not accept returns on gift cards, cell phone cards, medications, ammunition, firearms, pepper spray, opened DVDs/CDs/video games, tobacco, alcohol, perishable items, sanitary products, and gas-powered items like go-karts and dirt bikes. Walmart also won’t accept any returns on products damaged by customers.

Walmart allows returns on almost all items with some restrictions.

To get a full or partial refund on any item you purchased from Walmart, you have two options: return it via mail or to your nearest Walmart Store.

What is the process for a Walmart return?

You can return the item to Walmart in-store. Your refund will go to the same credit card or debit card used to purchase the item.

If that card is not present but you have your receipt, your refund will be processed onto a Walmart gift card. If you have made cash purchase, the refund will only be processed in cash.

If you have purchased a giftcard, the refund will be either processed on the original giftcard or issued on a brand new giftcard.
